Introducing the Care Bear Cousins
The full-length animated movies, Care Bears (1985) and Care Bears 2 (1986) introduced us to many of the Care Bear Characters living in Care-a-Lot and the Care Bear Cousins (usually not bears) living in the Forest of Feelings.
You were introduced to the Original Ten Care Bears in Part 1 of this guide. Now, please let me introduce you to The Care Bear Cousins!
Care Bear Cousins


Braveheart Lion: He is the leader of the Cousins and his tummy symbol is a big red heart with a small crown



Bright Heart Raccoon: He is the smartest of the Cousins and his symbol is a bright light bulb symbolizing his great ideas.



Cozy Heart Penguin: She is the friendliest of the Cousins and her symbol is a heart with a cocy knit cap to keep it warm



Gentle Heart Lamb: She is most gentle and shy of the Cousins and her symbol is a lace-trimmed heart.



Lotsa Heart Elephant: He is the strongest of the Cousins and so his symbol is weight with a heart



Loyal Heart Dog: He is the most loyal of the Cousins and his symbol is a shiny heart-shaped medal



Noble Heart Horse: He is brave and caring and his symbol is a star encased within a rainbow colored heart

Playful Heart Monkey: He is the most playful of the Cousins and symbol is a heart topped with a party hat!



Proud Heart Cat: He is proud of himself and encourages you to be too! His symbol is a heart inside a star



Swift Heart Rabbit: He is the fastest of the Cousins and his symbol is a heart with wings



Treat Heart Pig is the most generous of the Cousins.
